Experience Scotch in Context

Join the Islay Whisky Academy for a three-day educational whisky experience. Get more out of your dram with lectures on nosing and tasting, learn flavours and aroma and enjoy a blind tasting experience. Get an overview of Islay whisky with visits to several of the island’s famous distilleries. Explore the island’s history with a trip to Finlaggan, ancient seat of the Kings of the Isles. Try your hand at peat cutting and delve into the history of the Gaelic distillery names.
